Eilat, Israel – Aqaba, Jordan
All day optional excursions. Eilat is known for some of the world’s best diving spots. Eilat is also renowned for birdwatching, camel riding and visits to the biblical theme park called Kings City or Timna Valley Park, home to the world’s oldest copper mines. Evening sailing to Aqaba. Late evening arrival in Aqaba. Overnight in port.
Aqaba, Jordan
All day optional excursion in Petra, one of the 7 wonders of the world. At Petra, place also known as the Red Rose city, you will visit the Siq Canon and witness the towering brightness of El Kazneh (The Treasury), a 140-foot high edifice carved into a mountain. Late in the evening, sailing to Sharm El Sheikh. Overnight at sea.
Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt
Morning arrival at Sharm El Sheikh. All day optional excursion at St. Catherine’s Monastery or optional snorkeling excursion. St. Catherine’s Monastery is the world’s oldest continuously active monastery and a pilgrimage site for Christians, Jews and Muslims. Pilgrims have been travelling to this site since the 5th century and each day hundreds of visitors come to pay their respects. Sharm El Sheikh is also the diving and snorkeling mecca of the Red Sea region. Overnight in port.
Sharm El-Sheikh – Gubal island or El Gouna – Hurghada, Egypt
Morning sailing to Gubal Islands for swim stop and deck BBQ. Early afternoon sailing to Hurghada. Late afternoon arrival to Hurghada. Overnight in port.
Hurghada – Luxor, Egypt
Morning bus transfer to Luxor for a 2-day / 1-night land trip to this magnificent Ancient City. The trip includes transfers to Luxor and overnight at a deluxe hotel, but not the excursions which are optional. In the afternoon after checking in, our optional excursion will allow us to discover the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Overnight in Luxor hotel.
Luxor – Hurghada, Egypt
Early morning optional excursion to West Bank section of Luxor to discover the Valley of the Kings, the Hatscheput Temple, dedicated to the only ever female Pharaoh and to the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon return to the ship in Hurghada. Overnight at sea to Ain Sohkna.
Ain Sokhna or Suez, Egypt
Morning arrival in Ain Sokhna or Suez. Disembark and prepare for your onward journey.
