Marrakech’s Jardin Majorelle stands as one of Morocco’s highly frequented attractions. Over a span of forty years, the French painter Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962) poured his passion and dedication into crafting this captivating garden in the heart of the “Ochre City.”
Start the day heading towards Ouarzazate through the picturesque Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Revel in the diverse splendor of breathtaking landscapes nestled within the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. Pause to explore Ait Ben Haddou, where the Atlas Mountains showcase their most exquisitely decorated Kasbahs, forming a captivating panorama.
Commence your journey to Boumalne and delve into the traditional Berber villages, Taourirt and Tifoultoute. The visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt unveils the treasures of Amazigh architecture. Traverse the main gate to access the inner courtyard, a splendid arena reminiscent of past festivals that hosted Ahwach song and dance concerts. Your day concludes with the arrival in Boumalne and enjoy the dinner at the hotel.
Our journey for the day takes us through the Dades Valley to the Berber town of Boumalne, then continues to Erfoud, where we leave our coach and embark on a 4WD journey to Merzouga, hailed as the ‘Jewel of the Sahara.’ The dunes of Erg Chebbi rank among the largest in Morocco, reaching heights of up to 160 meters. The upcoming two nights promise a delightful experience as we reside in a traditional Moroccan Kasbah.
Begin your day early with a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes during a camel ride. Following breakfast, we set out for Khamlia, a charming desert village, where you can savor a cup of tea in a traditional home. Later, indulge in lunch at a Moroccan palace within the Medina, followed by a visit to the tannery.

Head to Chefchaouen, a charming and tranquil city. The vibrant colors of various products in shops and bazaars create a striking contrast against the backdrop of the dazzling blue and white houses.
Depart to Tangier, a pivotal port connecting Africa and Europe since Phoenician times. The medina, perched on the hillside, showcases whitewashed buildings and features Dar el Makhzen, a former palace that has now turned into a museum displaying ancient Moroccan artifacts. Additionally, within the medina, the American Legation Museum, housed in a Moorish-style consulate from 1821, recounts the history of the initial diplomatic ties between the United States and Morocco.
Our next destination, Rabat, the capital of Morocco, situated on the banks of the Bouregreg River and the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, we proceed back to Casablanca and enjoy our farewell dinner at Ricks Café, a romantic eatery inspired by the cafe in the 1942 film “Casablanca”.
