EXTENSION TO VICTORIA FALLS

Upon arrival at the Victoria Falls International Airport, guests will be met by an English speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Victoria Falls is a town in western Zimbabwe named after the massive waterfalls located here. The Zambezi River plummets over a cliff and into the Boiling Pot before flowing through a series of gorges. The Devil’s Pool, a natural infinity pool, is on the edge of a sheer drop. Spanning the river is 1905 Victoria Falls Bridge. The surrounding Zambezi National Park is home to white rhinos and elephants.

Accommodation: Victoria Falls Hotel or similar (3 nights)

In the morning, begin with a guided tour of Victoria Falls, past the ‘Big Tree’ where you may stop and take photos. You will then be accompanied through the Rainforest by our guide who will give a brief history of the Falls as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird and wildlife and other points of interest. Feel free to ask for assistance with taking photographs whilst visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls. Raincoats are provided when needed. After the tour, lunch at hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Enjoy breakfast and spend the morning at your leisure. After lunch at hotel, depart on an afternoon sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River onboard African Queen or African Princess. Heed the call of Africa while sipping traditional cocktails and enjoying delicious snacks in the fading twilight hours on this fabulous cruise. Experience all the natural wonders that the mighty Zambezi River has to offer.
