Itinerary
Board your overnight flight to Budapest, Hungary.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner at hotel.
This morning, enjoy a half-day walking tour of Budapest with an English-speaking guide. Starting from the hotel, explore the Danube Bank with stunning views of its iconic bridges, followed by visits to Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Buda Castle. The tour continues with a look at the renovated Redoute of Budapest (exterior), Basilica Square, and a visit inside the Basilica. Strolling through Freedom Square, you’ll pass the Parliament building (exterior) before concluding at the poignant Shoes on the Danube Memorial. After the tour, return to your hotel via the scenic Tram #2.

Today, you will be transferred to the pier to embark on your ship. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Cocktail, followed by a specially prepared Welcome Dinner featuring a lively folklore show with local artists who will dance, sing, and entertain aboard.

Budapest – Castle Hill & Historic Wonders
Discover the rich history and stunning Baroque architecture of Budapest, including the Hungarian State Opera and the iconic Parliament building, completed in 1904. Stop for photos at Heroes’ Square, home to monuments honoring Hungarian kings, before crossing one of the city’s seven bridges into Buda. Visit St. Matthew’s Church and Fisherman’s Bastion (if open), where breathtaking panoramic views of the city await. Return to the vessel afterward.
Esztergom, Visegrád Castle & Szentendre
Departing from Budapest, the tour takes you to Szentendre, a charming artists’ village renowned for its museums and galleries, including the Margit Kovács Museum. Stroll through the main square, Foetér, lined with inviting cafés and shops. Continue to the ruins of Visegrád Fortress, offering spectacular views of the Danube Bend, before concluding the excursion in Esztergom, the former royal seat of Hungary.

After breakfast, you are transferred to the Penati Golf Club, which is situated near the town of Senica and features the longest hole in Europe. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board before the vessel departs Slovakia and crosses into Austria.

Explore the capital of Slovakia with a driving tour past St. Martin’s Cathedral, Grassalkovich Palace, and up to Castle Hill for panoramic city views. Then, enjoy a guided walking tour through the old town, visiting Michael’s Gate, Primatial Palace, St. Martin’s Cathedral, Academia Istropolitana, and the main square with the City Hall, Opera House, and Maximilian Fountain. Stop for a treat at a cozy spot to try Pressburger rolls. The tour ends at the Opera House and Ganymede’s Fountain, with free time to explore or return to the ship.
In the evening, a particularly elegant experience awaits: A waltz dance class on board, where you’ll glide across the floor to the rhythm of the music and immerse yourself in the traditional Viennese dance experience.
