Strasbourg welcomes you with its unique blend of French flair and German heritage. Stroll through its charming old town, admire the soaring cathedral, and discover its rich history on a guided tour that brings together centuries of European culture, architecture, and political significance. Later, experience the city from the water as you glide along its canals, passing elegant façades, peaceful waterways, and historic districts that reveal Strasbourg’s layered identity. Alternatively, venture deep into the Black Forest, where cascading waterfalls, dense woodlands, and traditional craftsmanship create an authentic journey through one of Germany’s most iconic natural regions, complemented by regional cuisine and local specialties.
Begin your day in Speyer, one of Germany’s oldest towns, where history reveals itself at every step. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its historic streets, accompanied by a taste of the region’s iconic pretzel. In the afternoon, Heidelberg awaits—its romantic old town framed by the majestic castle above the Neckar River. For a more active perspective, a scenic walk along the Philosopher’s Path rewards you with breathtaking views.
As your ship glides through the UNESCO-listed Rhine Gorge, castles rise dramatically above vineyard-covered hills, and the legendary Lorelei rock evokes centuries of myth and romance. In Rüdesheim, explore quaint streets and unique attractions before continuing to Koblenz, where history and rivers meet. Enjoy Music on the Rhine onboard in the evening.
The journey continues along the gentle curves of the Moselle, winding through terraced vineyards and idyllic landscapes. In Cochem, a guided walk reveals half-timbered houses, charming squares, and the imposing Reichsburg castle above Wine lovers can indulge in tastings at local vineyards, whether among the vines or in historic cellars, sampling the region’s famed Rieslings and other varietals.
Cologne greets you with over two millennia of history. Discover its vibrant old town and the awe-inspiring cathedral on a guided tour. Along the way, enjoy a glass of freshly poured Kölsch—an authentic taste of local culture.
Arriving in Amsterdam, experience the city from its most iconic perspective: the water. A canal cruise reveals elegant façades and lively neighborhoods.
