Itinerary

Embark in the afternoon and get settled in your cabin. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Cocktail, followed by a specially prepared Welcome Dinner. Afterwards, you will be briefed on all onshore excursions, golf clubs and starting times, while the ship will have left Paris and cruise to the next port of call: Conflans

Arrive in Conflans, where the Oise and Seine rivers meet. In the morning, transfer to the renowned Le Golf National, located southwest of Paris near the Palace of Versailles. Today, play the legendary Albatros Championship Course, one of Europe’s most prestigious golf venues and host of the 2018 Ryder Cup. After a memorable round, return to the ship in the evening for dinner as your vessel continues along the Seine.

Le Golf National – Albatros Course

The Albatros Course is celebrated for its balance of strategic challenge and sporting elegance. Its risk-and-reward layout features gently undulating fairways, classic links-style bunkers and dramatic water hazards, offering an exciting round for golfers of all skill levels. Known as the “French heart of golf,” Le Golf National is also the long-standing home of the Open de France.

In the morning you arrive in Rouen, known as the “Ville Musée” thanks to its many museums and rich artistic heritage. Whether exploring on your own or joining our guided city tour, a visit to the beautifully preserved medieval centre is an absolute must. The tour through the historic capital of Normandy takes you back to the Middle Ages, with Gothic churches, lovingly restored patrician houses and half-timbered buildings shaping the cityscape. Learn more about the city’s remarkable past, made famous by figures such as the Dukes of Normandy, Joan of Arc, the writers Corneille and Flaubert, and the artists Géricault and Monet. Another highlight is the timeless astronomical clock Le Gros Horloge from the 14th century. Alternatively, a short walk up to the Côte Sainte-Catherine, one of the city’s finest viewpoints, offers a breathtaking panorama over Rouen, including the impressive Notre-Dame Cathedral, several historic churches and the six bridges spanning the Seine. In the afternoon, a delightful countryside excursion awaits. On a visit to the Pressoir d’Or estate, you will enjoy a cider tasting before continuing on to Lyons-la-Forêt, one of France’s most beautiful and characterful villages, which you can explore at your own pace.

Le Havre lies at the mouth of the Seine in the English Channel and is the second largest port in France. In the morning, start your trip to Golf d’Étretat, a breathtaking golfing destination. Set above the cliffs of Étretat with a spectacular view of the English Channel, the magnificent, wave-cut arches of the famous cliffs and the charming village below, the Étretat Golf Club is over 100 years old and is considered one of the best French seaside golf courses.

Étretat Golf Club

The club, which is over 100 years old, was founded in 1908 by Englishmen. The first president was Bernard Forbes, 8th Earl of Granard. The original 13-hole course was designed by Julien Chantepie and Arnaud Massy (the only Frenchman to have won the Open). The club closed during WWII, but reopened in 1949, after the landmines had been cleared out. Didier Fruchet revised the layout in the 1990s and today the resort extends over 6,000 meters. The 18-hole course will test every facet of players’ games, particularly with the exciting sequence of holes at the back nine, between the 10th and the 14th, where the fairways run along the cliff edge.

After breakfast, depart Le Havre for another outstanding golf experience at the renowned Golf Club Barrière de Deauville. Travel through the scenic Normandy countryside to the heights of Mont Canisy, where impressive coastline views and rolling parkland create a memorable setting for the day’s round. After golf, return to the ship and continue your journey along the Seine toward Caudebec-en-Caux.

Golf Club Barrière de Deauville

Located just outside Deauville, Golf Club Barrière de Deauville is one of Normandy’s most admired golf resorts. Set across gently rolling parkland, the course combines tree-lined fairways, open terrain and sea views. Its technical layout rewards precision, thoughtful play and confident putting, making it a rewarding challenge for experienced and ambitious golfers.

Arrive in Les Andelys this morning, beautifully situated along one of the Seine’s most scenic bends and overlooked by the ruins of Château Gaillard. From here, set out for another memorable round at Le Golf Parc Robert Hersant.

Set in the peaceful Eure Valley, this 18-hole championship course features beautifully maintained parkland, mature trees, generous fairways, extensive water features and strategic bunkering. After your round, rejoin the ship in Mantes-la-Jolie and continue your journey along the Seine.

Le Golf Parc Robert Hersant

Le Golf Parc Robert Hersant is known for its elegant parkland setting, scenic water features and carefully designed layout. With generous fairways, immaculate greens and natural surroundings, it offers a rewarding golf experience in one of Normandy’s most peaceful landscapes.

In the early hours of the morning we will say “Bienvenue” to the French capital once again. The day is yours to explore this romantic city. An included city tour takes you to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and the bustling Champs-Élysées in the morning. In the afternoon, an optional tour allows you to explore the quirky artists’ district of Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur, located on the highest hill in northern Paris.

After breakfast, your Amadeus Diamond crew bids you “adieu”. We hope to see you again soon!
