Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, you will be transferred to hotel. Enjoy the day at your own leisure.

Taipei

Explore the city of Taipei using your 1 Day Taipei Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus ticket. The ticket will be valid between 9:10 AM – 8:00 PM (hop on and hop off on both Red or Blue line). There is onboard audio-guide information available in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

Taipei Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus – Start off at Taipei Main Station, both lines run west looping around the city’s North Gate heading through Ximending and past the Presidential Office Building toward Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. After here, the lines split.

Red line – the bus continues east on Xinyi Road past foodie haven Yongkang Street toward Taipei 101. After looping the Xinyi Shopping District, the bus heads back east along Zhongxiao East Road, stopping at Taipei City Hall, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Dongqu (Eastern District), and nearby the Huashan Cultural and Creative Industries Park, ending up back at Taipei Main Station.

Blue line – the bus continues by heading north along Zhongshan North Road, stopping at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum which is within walking distance of the Dalongdong Cultural and Historical District and Taipei Expo Park. After crossing the river, the bus makes stops at several locations in Shilin District including the Martyrs’ Shrine, Taipei’s largest night market – Shilin Night Market, a children’s amusement park and science museum, and Chiang Kai-shek’s former residence. The blue line terminates at National Palace Museum, after which it switches direction back to Taipei Main Station.

Taipei – Taroko, Hualien

After breakfast, you will be picked up by the driving guide and drive to Taroko Gorge via the world’s fifth longest highway tunnel (12.9 km) and the breathtaking east coast cliff highway. Photo stop at Chinshui Cliff. Upon arrival at Taroko National Park, the only marble gorge in the world, will proceed visiting the Taroko Gorge Gateway, Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, etc. Overnight at Taroko National Park

Sun Moon Lake, Nantou

After breakfast, drive to Sun Moon Lake via the picturesque Central Cross-Island Highway and Wuling on Mt. Hehuan. The highest spot (3,275m above sea level) of the highway is the best place to have a panoramic view over the Central mountain Ranges. Continue to Sun Moon Lake, a designated National Scenic Area, and drive along the lake to indulge yourself in the natural beauty all around, visiting Wen-wu Temple with beautiful lake view. Overnight at Sun Moon Lake

Tainan

In the morning, visit Holy Monk Shrine, Tehua VIllage, and Tse En Pagoda that dotted along the lakeside hill. Next, transfer to Tainan, a historical capital city established since 16th century. Upon arrival, take a walking tour around Anping Fort, and old street area which is one of the most historical streets. Immerse yourself in the blended atmosphere of traditional Chinese and modern Taiwanese culture. Overnight at Tainan.

Kaohsiung

After breakfast, visit Chikan Tower which founded in 1653 by Dutch as the control centre of Taiwan), and the first Confucius Temple in Taiwan founded in 1665). Then continue to Kaohsiung. Visit the biggest monastery in Taiwan – Foguangshan Monastery. Visit the Main Shrine and Buddhist Museum You will have a light vegetarian at the monastery. In the late afternoon, arrive the biggest city of Southern Taiwan, Kaohsiung City. Check in the hotel and you can enjoy the beautiful night view at your own time, or visit the famous Liuho Night Market to have an understanding about the local nightlife.

Lukang – Taipei

In the morning, visit Dragon and Tiger Pagoda; Spring and Autumn Pavilion at Lotus Pond. Enjoy some leisurely walk around Lotus Pond Scenic Area, or enjoy a cup of coffee at a local cafe. Then drive north to Lukang to visit Lungshan Temple. Continue to the last photo stop at Sanyi wood carving street. In the evening, arrive Taoyuan International Airport for your onward flights.
